Hakeem, a struggling father in his early 30s, caught between responsibilities and personal desires. He's torn between caring for his son, Stevie, who idolizes superheroes and his own aspirations. Hakeem's life takes a drastic turn when Stevie inadvertently becomes a hero during a store robbery.
